New River Veterinary Specialists was specifically developed as a top-level emergency and critical care hospital.  We will be the only hospital in the region with multiple board-certified specialists on staff to care for our sickest patients and is open, 24-hours-a-day, 7-days a week. Our specialty and emergency hospital is equipped with an intensive care unit (ICU) to provide continuous monitoring and minute-by-minute care to the most critical patients. We are one of only a few veterinary hospitals in the state of South Carolina capable of providing long-term mechanical ventilation support to patients with pulmonary or ventilatory failure.
